unable to install giit due to git-man missing

Hi!

I performed a big update on my bare metal HURD installation (ThinkPad). apt-get upgrade && apt-get dist-upgrade after many months. At a first glance, all is sweet and I could reboot as well as login remotely via telnet and ssh (yay!).

However, I cannot do further tests due to git missing. If I try to reinstall it, I get:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 git : Depends: git-man (< 1:2.50.1-.) but 1:2.51.0-1 is to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
E: The following information from --solver 3.0 may provide additional context:
Unable to satisfy dependencies. Reached two conflicting decisions:
   1. git:hurd-i386=1:2.50.1-0.1 is selected for install
   2. git:hurd-i386 Depends git-man (< 1:2.50.1-.)
but none of the choices are installable:
      [no choices]

apparently there is a conflict between available items, right? Is it local or from the repositories and, more important, an easy fix? I think downgrading would also be an option, I don't mind as long as it works.
