Ah, I was rather thinking about making the debian-installer caller of
debootstrap pass over the --extra-suites option.

That's probably fine to do it for all non-release arch installs: if the
porters put some packages in the unreleased suite, that's usually for a
reason that will also be valid for the base system :)
