I had 2016.11.28 and tried to update to the repository given in
https://www.debian.org/ports/hurd/hurd-install.html

"deb http://deb.debian.org/debian-ports unreleased main" Updating with only this repository enabled too gives me a GPG error. There is also unofficial advice that suggests to add [trusted=yes]. I installed it from finding it on the https://packages.debian.org/sid/debian-ports-archive-keyring page. The version I have now is (2018.12.27). During the upgrade, the package configuration screen said that services needed to be restarted on my system. It asks should I restart those services without asking. I don't I put my input for yes or no, but it is now frozen :( ... I tried restarting the icewm by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL or CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE, but it does not. So I killed it with top from my host? What else could I have done? -- Eric
