All currently available images of hurd d-i (20151215-02:36 up to
20160113-01:54) hang on boot.  The last message given is:

start ext2fs: Hurd server bootstrap: ext2fs[gunzip:device:rd0] exec_

Machine is Virtualbox on amd64, with BIOS.
