hurd, shadow, coreutils packages uploaded
Hello,
I have uploaded the hurd, passwd/login, and coreutils packages, which
should be available with the next mirror update. Some notable changes
are:
- the login package is now built, with the usual debian files, except
the /bin/login binary, still provided by the hurd package.
- /etc/securetty is switched back to the login package.
- the Hurd console is not started last any more. This will permit to
start xdm automatically.
- su is now provided by the login package. This should fix the "su -"
discrepancies.
- hurd's runsystem priority is decreased to 5, below sysvinit's.
* This means switching to sysvinit's boot scripts*
* This also means that when you upgrade, you will have to explictly
* use hurd-reboot to reboot the first time after the upgrade,
* otherwise sysvinit's reboot will be used and won't work. *
Thanks to everybody involved in all these changes, that is quite a move!
Samuel
