Yes, there is a list there and a partial list at:
http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/contributing.html

In addition to that it would be nice to have a short term list, 
like: coreutils, binutils, e2fsprogs, etc. that are not the latest
versions.

Is there some easy way to generate a list of packages sorted in
Priority: required, essential, important, optional, etc that currently
does not build.
