I've now tried again after stripping the chroot from about everything
which needs perl modules.  After that, an upgrade to perl-5.10 worked
fine, and I've now generated and activated a list of binNMUs for
perl-5.10 thanks to some scripts by Marc Brockschmidt.  Once those are
starting to build fine, I'll upload the whole shebang.

Testers for those packages still wanted, but probably it's better to
wait till at least the important perl modules are rebuilt against the
new libperl.
