Fmm,
Apparently, VMware image is something strange.

In 30GB disk image, abnormality is not found.
However, 60 GB image could not boot even if with -s option.
40 GB image could boot with -s option, but ,apparently, file system was
broken.
The permissions of some files and directoris (e.g /usr/games) were
?--------.
