Greetings & Salutations, I've been trying to get the Hurd installed for the past fortnight, but to no avail. I have tried utilizing the Debian GNU/Hurd CD's, the debian-gnu-hurd-current.tar.gz and utilizing “crosshurd” from my Sid install. All three methods seem to crap out when trying to run “./native-install” for the second time. Here is a list of my computers hardware; Statistics of machine 'Sid' * 1 CPU: AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3100+ @ 1808.399MHz * Kernel: 2.6.18-4-k7 #1 SMP Mon Mar 26 17:57:15 UTC 2007 * Memory total: 1035556kB * Hostname: Sid @ 192.168.1.64 * Network Interfaces: lo: 127.0.0.1 eth0: 192.168.1.64 * Graphics card: nVidia Corporation NV44 [GeForce 6200 TurboCache(TM)] (rev a1) * Sound card: Creative Labs SB Live! Is my system compatable? If so is there some current instructions I can follow? Regards |
