Introducing the alioth bug tracker
Hello people,
We activated the alioth bug tracker for the debian-hurd project a while
ago.
The idea is for people using Debian GNU/Hurd to report Debian GNU/Hurd
specific failures in applications there. Bug reports for the hurd and
gnumach packages should still be filed in the Debian bug tracker (or
upstream, depending on the nature of the issue).
Good candidates are 'emacs doesn't work', or 'mutt quits with
"libsasl2.so could not be found"', or 'tla is not available, please
compile it for gnuab'. Also, issues with bootstrapping Debian GNU/Hurd
via crosshurd are appropriate there. If in doubt, just mailing
debian-hurd@lists.debian.org will work as well.
One does not need to have an account on alioth in order to submit a bug,
but in that case, please leave your name and contact in the bug report,
so that we can get back to you.
