Ah, it is hanging in the floppy driver initialization. I've heard
about this problem before. The workaround is using a self-compiled
kernel without all hardware support.
Compiling GNUMach 1.3 is really easy to do, you don't even need a
cross compiler for this. This fixed the problem for all people who
reported this problem before (AFAIK).

This card works on GNU/Hurd (IIRC).
