It never hurts to ask if you see something unusual.  Any unexplained
difference between GNU/Linux and GNU/Hurd is by definition unusual :).

We certainly have bugs.  However, we are using the very same linker.  So if
indeed something is errorneous with the linker, then we have a problem.

However, libsdc++ and problems with weak symbols rather indicate a compiler
problem, than a linker problem.  Of course it is not possible to guess what
happens.

I think that 185536 (xft2) might be a genuine bug (although I can not check
without the X sources), while the others probably are not.  g++ should
always add libstdc++ automatically for C++ programs.
