A couple hundred megs of swap space would be enough. If it isn't, just
add another swap partition. I have not been able to make a partition over
2GB, partitions ~1GB are good. I don't think anyone wants to compile glibc
or gcc on a 486 so 1GB partitions are enough. More physical ram would be
better than swap for this machine.

I don't think it would handle 20 compilations at the same time :) Perhaps
20 irc clients.
