I think this error is specific to hurd because i had this
error already with the 4.0.1 packages which work without this error
in linux. But im currently downloading the 4.1.0 binaries for
linux from ftp://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86/4.1.0/binaries/Linux-ix86-glibc21/
because there are no deb packages for linux i think?

Ahh yes i had to install menu for twm now i have a hint where i can look.

yes sorry this is in xterm i wasnt specific enough.
i will test more of this and post the results.
