lies

Just as a quick heads-up. This took me somewhat by surprise -- I
didn't expect that this many people are interested in the Hurd effort.

Source: <URL:http://lists.debian.org/stats/> all data from someday
this month (presumably the first).

   Architecture Mailing list Subscribers

   powerpc debian-powerpc 527
   sparc debian-sparc 520
   alpha debian-alpha 450
   m68k debian-68k 416

   Exotic "archs"

   hurd-i386 debian-hurd 752

                   debian-bsd 259

Of course, ml subscriber numbers have no proven correlation to the
size of a ports userbase, developer involvement or, (godforbid)
relative merit of a port.

The above URL just *may* be a nice place to point a maintainer to who
consistently ignores hurd bugs in his packages.
