But please don't expect so much on me ;-)  I am not an expert
on computer/Linux/Hurd...  I will try but I might fail to do 
something.

Oh! sorry but I am completely new to Hurd so I don't know
Jeff is working on tetex.

Please go ahead, Jeff.  It is enough for me if libkpathsea problem
is fixed on tetex and it helps me much if you build tetex because
I can concentrate on jtex-bin and/or more Japanese specific packages.
