Re: Building kernels

That's a good question.  What appeared to happen was that somewhere in
the debian/rules configuration process, something was introduced into
the tree so that build would repeatedly reconfigure itself and
rebuild.  On using the source package in the woody distribution, it
built a new kernel OK.
