Because color support really doesn't belong into the kernel. The console
should be handled by an external program.

Considering the hurd architecute, the console in gnumach is a hack (a
minimal console can be justified for boot messages). We don't want hacks in
the cvs source, because they are a short term solution only.

This change introduces new features, which are difficult to revert when
people start to use them. So I will not make the decision to apply this
patch all alone, and the Hurd authors are currently not doing much Hurd
stuff, so we have to wait for an official word on it.
