Cross-install doesn't do much
Dear Marcus et al,
Tried running cross install.
Not a lot happens - it gets as far as installing the first package, then I
get an error in the log:
/root/hurd/dpkg-hurd: cd is `/hurd', must be run from a partition root
filesystem
What do I do to fix this? anyone else found this error?

the idiot's guide is postponed further, as the idiot can't install hurd :(
