Apologize

Hello,

I have to apologize for reacting too fast, and put blame on the Hurd
developers. Indeed, shame on me.

I tried some hours extracting the mysterious exit() bug from the dpkg
sources, and then I had 1000 lines of codes which were self contained.

Well, compiling and running them under Linux does produce *the same error*.

It appears that the dpkg-1.4.1.4 source code tree is BROKEN. It is
completely an upstream bug in the cleanup routine of dpkg (well, the
experimental release only). Please don't blame the dpkg developers, I "stole"
the code from Klee's home directory, it is in no way an official release.

Again, I apologize for creating confusion about this. I don't think the time
was wasted (I learned a lot about dpkg and debugging). I'll now try to put my
energy in the dpkg-1.4.0.24 release, which works at least under linux.

Anyone wants to join me in this effort? It seems that I'm just too stupid to
do it alone :)

At least I have learned why so few people are able to hack dpkg succesfull.
The code is not a mess, but quite complicated :)
