C180 Boot problems



First of all, the darn thing hangs when booting after afresh install.
See the following startup output (from my serial console):

The last line is where it freezes.

Also, if I try to boot from the graphics console GRAPHICS(3),
(which is a GSC A4071B) it also freezes, (Right after the line that  says
"...common problem..." but the display has thick vertical bars.
