Strange build of tulip

Hi HPPA porters,

The build log for latest tulip package is quite strange.  All linking
of share libs and plugins gives a huge amount of undefined-symbol
errors, but all those shared objects appear to be generated anyway,
with no failure code from the linker.

Any idea what's hapenning there ?
