Re: modprobe?

Hi all,
  
       Ralf, I have these in my /etc/modules.conf on my laptop but I 
don't see the point on having them on a PA-RISC box.

> Mar  1 02:32:10 gecko modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module block-major-33
alias block-major-33	ide-probe

> Mar  1 02:32:10 gecko modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module block-major-34
alias block-major-34	ide-probe

> Mar  1 02:32:10 gecko modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module block-major-2 
alias block-major-2	floppy

You can solve these errors with "alias block-major-id off" in your 
/etc/modules.conf where id is 33, 34 and 2
