Thanks for the warm welcome, Mikolaj!
Hopefully one of the members who control the Salsa access list can approve
my request soon. I'm ready to get started contributing, especially with
some packages that have to go to the NEW queue.
The packaging process looks fairly straight forward and the tooling looks
very good. I do have a few questions, though.
1) Is the recommended version of cabal-debian the one that is currently
packaged in unstable, or the upstream version from hackage? The Getting
Started page seems to be a bit unclear on that as it suggests needing to
build the version from git, but also shows a command line that installs the
debian package.
2) It seems that when you update the version of a package, say haskell-foo
from version 1.1 to 1.2, that packages's rdepends need to be rebuilt also -
with a binNMU? Is there something making this happen automatically, or
does it have to be done manually?
Ping. Can anyone please add me to the DHG Salsa group?
