thanks for that information; this means that our general approach
worked, but just these cases are special for one or the other reason.
Good :-)

In the case of haskell-split, the reason seems to be the existence of
a /usr/share/doc-base/haskell-split-api file, something that only few
packages have.

So the right course of actions seems to be to just fix the few cases on
http://piuparts.debian.org/squeeze2wheezy/overwrite_other_packages_files_error.html individually, as we did before. Maybe I’ll get to it in the next few days.
