Hello. I've made a new package for haskell-devscripts. The main change is that it uses ghc --make instead of ghc -package Cabal to build DEB_SETUP_BIN_NAME (?= debian/hlibrary.setup). This was necessary to build the new version of haskeline, which uses other packages, like directory. Kari, do you see a problem with this change? Joachim, can you upload it please?
