GTK default renderer
Hi!
What are the upcoming plans for GTK's default renderer? I know the
renderer was switched back to ngl [1] after Ubuntu's [2]. There it was
mentioned that upstream's default (vulkan) could be used again in time
for Ubuntu 25.04. Is this going to happen in the near future?
For the record, we apple silicon users [3] are happy that the default is
still ngl, given that vulkan is currently broken on our platform [4].
Cheers!

[3] The asahi mesa drivers are not enabled in the Debian build yet, and
won't be in Trixie (except perhaps as a backport at some point? who
knows), but third parties' builds are being offered full support by the
Bananas Team at this time
