Hi, i want to help with gnome3 packaging and started with libcairomm-1.0-1 which is needed by gtkmm (needed eg for gnome-system-monitor). I uploaded my package to mentors.debian.net[1] and wrote the maintainer an email to sponsor the upload. Hopefully this will be done in the next days. Then i started to update gtkmm3.0 to the latest upstream version (3.0.1). i'm not sure what the correct procedure is, but i've done the following: 1) got the debian stuff from svn [2] 2) got the upstream tarball and renamed the tarball to gtkmm3.0_3.0.1.orig.tar.gz 3) update the debian/changelog file 4) uploaded the new package to mentors.debian.net[3] My questions are: 1) where should i send my svn diff to apply the changed changelog? 2) is the way with debian.mentors.net correct or should i just send the svn diff? Cheers, Tom [1] http://mentors.debian.net/cgi-bin/maintainer-packages?action=details;package=cairomm [2]svn checkout svn://svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-gnome/desktop/unstable/gtkmm3.0 [3] http://mentors.debian.net/cgi-bin/maintainer-packages?action=details;package=gtkmm3.0
