Hello, Since a few months ago I have had some real life and work stuff taking time away from my Debian time, and my work has thus been very limited. I feel some of my packages need more atention than I am being able to give them, and would like someone to take over. I'm putting all my GNOME-related packages up for adoption right now, I'll see if every package has got someone interested. If some are still unadopted by next saturday I'll orphan them. Here's a list: devhelp I've not really maintained this package for a long time; some very good work has been done by members of the team (mainly Loic, thanks!). glade3 Same as above; Joss has done one upload lately, but it needs to be updated to the new stable version (3.4). Some serious bug triaging needs to be done for this one. gnome-mag Mario Lang has been doing most of the work these days, it seems. Not sure what needs doing, even. scrollkeeper The monster. update-manager, update-notifier, software-properties These should go as a combo, in my opinion. They are all parts of the same "system" of notifying and installing updates. They're basically utnubu work, but not only involving packaging. Just to give whoever takes them an idea, to keep them working and up-to-date I had to patch all of them, some times with my patches being integrated in the original source, sometimes keeping the patches for Debian only. The first patch involved providing Debian sources.list information when running on Debian. One of the last patches to update-manager, which still needs more debugging and was not pushed upstream, is intended for it to treat 'dist-upgrades' the Debian way (Debian doesn't use meta-release and stuff like that). http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-gnome/packages/unstable/update-manager/debian/patches/02_replace_dist_upgrade.diff?op=file&rev=0&sc=0 Let me know if you want to take any of those, or have any doubts.
