No place to input when starting Gnome
Hello, all,
I'm trying to set gnome up on my computer, and am having
problems with it. When I start up, I get the login screen. I log in,
and then all I get is what looks like a window full of log data,
and no mouse capability (though I *did* get that on *one*
attempt). I have the following .xinitrc file in the home
directory of the user that I log in with:
======================================================================
#!/bin/sh
xrdb -load .Xdefaults
emacspeak &
exec gnome-session
======================================================================
Am I still missing something?
Thanks,
Terrence
