Bonobo couldn't locate the file "GNOME_Galeon_Automation.server". Usually this is an indication of an incomplete installation. See the INSTALL document for more details. Starting galeon from an xterm brings this error:(galeon:5323): Bonobo-Activation-WARNING **: Strange exception (IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0) from active server registration
** (galeon:5323): WARNING **: Could not initialize GaleonAutomation factory
pc@rocket:~$ ps ax | grep bonobo4933 ? Ss 0:00 /usr/lib/bonobo-activation/bonobo-activation-server --ac-activate --ior-output-fd=20
After killing this process, galeon usually starts up without further ado.
Best regards, AndreasP.S.: I just thought of playing around a bit. Turns out that the problem with gpdf really is related to the one with galeon. Killing bonobo-activation-server lets not only galeon start again; gpdf works right again, too.
