gnome Network Applet

Hi,

I just subscribed to the list. I use 2.6.12 and gnome 2.10, and liked the
network applet that saves the profiles for the networks. As a wireless user,
I found it interesting and actually, nice to use. Only problem is that I
have to go an activate the adapter to use the profile. I did notice that the
Configure, found the right profile, but it did not start the interface and
so on, On boot.

Is there a way for me to make that network applet to kick in on boot? use
the found networks with an available profile? I did notice, once, while
booting, the interface came up, associated and then did the dhcp request.
Still, I only saw that behavior once.

Any ideas are appreciated.

.Alejandro
