Can't view smb locations after upgrade to 2.8

I just upgraded my Debian Sid to GNOME 2.8, and now I can't view smb
locations any more. When I enter a smb:// URL in Nautilis it just
tells me that "smb://.../... is not a valid location".

Anyone knows what this might be? I have not rebooted since I upgraded,
but I guess that shouldn't matter. sftp/ftp URLs works fine.
