Yes, it is much easier to remember where things are. In Debian, I just
sort of move my mouse over Desktop Preferences, System Tools, etc. looking
for the right configuration app. I eventually find it, but the layout of
the Computer menu make more sense, IMO.

Is Ubuntu not pushing these particular changes upstream, or do you mean
that, the more people who prod upstream for these changes, the better? I
don't think that I'd be more persuasive than the Ubuntu devs.
