Hi !
I've just noticed that when select some files in nautilus, if a
symlink points on a directory that is a subtree of the selection and you
use the 'properties' panel (right-click->menu->properties) to get the
selection size, the elements in that subtree are counted twice !
Here is an example
Home/
dir1/
sdir11/
sdir12/
sdir121/ <--+
sdir1211/ |
sdir1212/ |
sdir122/ |
dir2/ |
sdir21/ |
sdir22/ |
dir3/ |
sdir31/ |
dir4/ link to --+
So if you select dir1, dir2 and dir4, the properties panel gives the size of
the following tree:
dir1/
sdir11/
sdir12/
sdir121/
sdir1211/
sdir1212/
sdir122/
dir2/
sdir21/
sdir22/
dir4/
sdir121/
sdir1211/
sdir1212/
So the content of the sdir121 subtree is counted twice !
I've tried to look at gnome's bugzilla but it seems to be down!
So my questions are:
Is that a known issue ?
and if not
Is the debian bts a good place to report such a bug ?
Thanks,
Nicolas.
