Usually I see problems with applications using this kernel, and when I switch to my trusty 2.4.22 (custom compiled) things work fine. If you do have another kernel available, i think it's worth giving it a try. (this happens with the latest version of transcode for instance. it would not run with the latest kernel. I have since patched my 2.6.0-test9 kernel using the latest patches from kernel.org (test10 && test11). Things run smooth for everything except USB or transcode) In general, when I have problems with Nautilus, they are related to FAM (running as inetd). When FAM runs as a daemon, things are pretty smooth. Hope that helps a bit. -- ----)(----- Luis M System Administrator/Web Developer LatinoMixed.com lemsx1@latinomixed.com http://www.latinomixed.com/
