new to gnome in debian

i've just installed gnome from unstable.

i have a couple of problems but i'll trying to fix them one at a time.

i use fluxbox.

After i installed gnome the font size changed and is now so, so small, i 
can hardly see. In both gnome and fluxbox (almost every program). even 
in gdm, when typing the user name.
How can i fix this?

Another thing that may be related.
When i select gnome in gdm and enter, it goes to fluxbox, and when i 
exit fluxbox it then goes to gnome.
Any hints?

Btw, is it better to install gnome for unstable or to add the source 
that are in debianplanet or something like that. ( link from www.gnome.org)?

i have more problems but if i fix these, i think the other will then be 
easy... i hope.
