2.5.0 sends a message to the panel and the panel opens run program.
So if you don't have CVS HEAD gnome-panel, then you lose because 2.2.x
gnome-panel doesn't understand the message.
I'm not sure why metacity 2.5.0 is packaged, it is only intended to be
used with CVS HEAD GNOME and is pretty hosed overall. metacity 2.4.x
is the stable series.
