Setting gnome2 fonts without gnome-font-properties
Hi,
I've some problems with fonts and gnome2. If in my gtk2 theme I put these
lines:
style "pietro"
{
font_name = "Arial 9"
}
widget_class "*" style "pietro"
Almost every gtk widget has Arial 9 font. But some programs, in particular
gnumeric 1.1.16 does NOT use Arial 9 for their widgets. In fact gnumeric has
Arial 9 in every widget but not in the main row/coloumns (where there are
numbers and letters of the cells). If I launch gnome-font-properties it
magically changes everything to Arial 9. If I launch gnome-font-properties
using KDE, kdesktop crashes.
I've an old PII 400 pc with a little amount of RAM, so I would like to have
correct fonts without having gnome-session in .xsession or launching
gnome-font-properties every time I load X:)=
I'm using gnome/gtk/kde and so on from SID.
Thank you very much,
Pietro.
