nautilus2 and pango need scalable fonts

Hi Everyone,

I've been running gnome2 under debian on a couple of different systems.
Recently I reinstalled debian on my primary one (HD upgrade) and found
that nautilus2 wasn't working. Specifically, after doing a gdb on it I
noticed that it was having problems with MiniXftPatternFind() from
/usr/lib/libpangoft2-1.0.so.0

This sounds like the same problem as was reported in:

http://lists.debian.org/debian-gtk-gnome/2002/debian-gtk-gnome-200207/msg00145.html

After fooling around with fonts for a while, I noticed that nautilus2
segfaults when xfonts-scalable is not installed. This doesn't appear to
be a pango problem persay as gnome-session and most other apps seem to
function correctly. I've also submitted a bug about this, so hopefully
should be taken care of. Just wanted to give a heads up.
