Yes, several times, even the whole session. 

Holding back libgnomevfs2-common to 2.0.2-7.1 works.

Apart from the config file changes,
/usr/lib/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/libdesktop.so and
/usr/lib/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/libvfolder-desktop.so are no longer in
2.0.4-1, I wonder if that's intended.
