What's wrong with experimental?

Hello!

I'm getting a strange error when trying to apt-get install gnome-panel2,
etc.:

However, I did run apt-get update repeatedly before. My sources.list
looks like this:

deb ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/project/experimental/main/binary-i386 ./

A look at the ftp server revealed that there is no subdirectory "pool"
in ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/project/experimental/main/binary-i386, so
what's going on?
