Perhaps the process could be to remove yourself from the Uploaders field
in git Salsa?

Assuming you are okay being mentioned in the field in the PTS pending
that someone else do an upload.

If so, there will be a complaint about Salsa git being ahead of the
archive on the PTS, which seems like a nice thing for a situation like
this.

The Uploaders: field is unfortunately a required field, so if it becomes
empty because you remove yourself, you need to add a human there. I'm
okay if you put my name there to resolv the policy concern. As a member
of the Go team I will feel some responsibility for the packages if there
is ever any need to fix something for them (as I hope everyone does).

I don't have cycles to pro-actively update them further now though, but
they look in fairly good shape from what I could tell.
