A little late comment: currently, it is possible to test reverse
dependencies autopkgtest with Debusine.  Regression tests is WIP, but
what I have done is upload to Debusine both, the current archived
version and the version I'm working on, and compare results.

To summarize:
Salsa CI has reverse dep build support.
Debusine has reverse autopkgtest support.
