Dear Debian Gis Team,

I have packaged python mercantile library from mapbox. The library helps to 
convert from XYZ mercator coordinates into Lat / Lon coordinates and back. It 
also allows to calculate all tiles, containing a geometry and much more. I 
find the library very useful und use it in some of my projects.

As I'm not a debian maintainer, I have requested a sponsorship for the package 
(s below). As it is a Gis library, I like to ask you, if someone of the Gis 
Team is interested in sponsoring the package?
