GDAL 3.0.1
With PROJ 6 in testing, it's time to prepare the transition to GDAL 3.
There is still no fix for fiona, and the upstream issue was closed
without linking to the issue where work on GDAL 3 support is actually
done. I'm very unhappy about that, so I'm not going to waste any more
time on fiona, it will get an RC bug for autoremoval from testing.
mysql-workbench (8.0.17+dfsg-1) FTBFS due to -Werror=deprecated-copy
issues, seemingly caused by the update to gcc-9 and unrelated to GDAL 3.
The package is also not in testing so not really an issue.
vtk7 (7.1.1+dfsg1-12) FTBFS because it hasn't been updated for PROJ 6 yet.
otb (6.6.1+dfsg-2) FTBFS due to changes in ossim, and failing to detect
GDAL 3.x as >= 2.0.0. Fortunately this was relatively easy, albeit time
consuming, to patch.
I've requested the transition slot in #939989.
