Hi,
just for the history the official packaging effort started here:

we based the packaging on some Ubuntu package I found somewhere in the
net. I'm *really* happy that this effort had some final outcome - even
that late. In general I can confirm that every workshop I did in this
manner resulted in at least one package in Debian which is quite good
IMHO.
Keep on the good work folks since without you I would not have this
good "statistics" of one package per workshop! ;-)
