Merging GRASS upstream packaging with DebianGIS

Hi all,
I am currently sitting on GRASS community sprint in Como. We are
thinking about joining packaging effort of GRASS upstream (daily
builds and currently also stable releases) [1] with DebianGIS.
Currently GRASS upstream is using some outdated packaging taken from
version 6.
The proposal is following:
* create separate branch (based on current experimental branch) on
alioth repository [2] which will be used by GRASS upstream for their
daily builds for Ubuntu on Launchpad. What could be the best name for
this branch ?
* move building of stable releases done by GRASS upstream to UbuntuGIS
Unstable - we also need some branches
Sounds good ?
