It seems that this isn't going to be too easy here. VTK depends on an older version of netCDF-C++ (4.1.3 or so, something that still contains `netcdfcpp.h`). I also couldn't find a way for turning off netCDF support yet.

Yes it does. But this is because vtk6 needs the netcdf-cxx package which
is still waiting in the NEW queue.
I did not list it this time as I reported that in another thread.
