What's the status on this?
I just bumped on this comment on debian mentors a few days ago:
Maintaining it under the "Debian GIS Team" would be nice. That website
looks pretty GRASS-specific though, would it be suitable for a non-GRASS
related package?

Which shows that the current naming scheme is not ideal.
